Imagiarium

Imagiarium paintings combine realistic portraiture with imaginative elements.
The works feature animal characters — cats, frogs, and rubber ducks — placed in carefully constructed, detailed environments.

The characters are both familiar and strange at the same time. Their expressions, poses, and unusual headpieces create a tension between realistic execution and absurd content.

The painting process begins with an idea, from which I construct a reference image using AI.
The final work is a hand-painted interpretation of this reference, with each painting taking approximately 100 hours to complete.

The body of work is built on visual contrasts: precision and playfulness, controlled surfaces and unexpected details.
